(EN) Born in 1997, Germain Marguillard is a visual artist living and working in Rennes (FR). He graduated from the School of Fine Arts of Rennes in 2021, and has developed a practice centred on sculptural and scenographic gestures. Interweaving forms drawn from archaeology and art history as well as from his everyday life, his installations plunge us into scenes imbued with a spirituality that is both archaic and prospective, in which the great myths of the past and the societal issues of the present merge.

(FR) Né en 1997, Germain Marguillard est un artiste plasticien vivant et travaillant à Rennes (FR). Diplômé de l’École des Beaux-Arts de Rennes en 2021, il développe une pratique concentrée autour de gestes sculpturaux et scénographiques. En entremêlant des formes puisées aussi bien dans l’archéologie et l’histoire de l’art que dans son quotidien, ses installations nous plongent dans des mises en scène baignées d’une spiritualité tant archaïque que prospective, dans laquelle les grands mythes du passé et les questionnements sociétaux du présent fusionnent.
